As a compliment to my recent post on 5 gluten-free & nut-free snacks, here's a quick recipe for a granola mix that I make using some of those products!
This granola mix is so simple, it doesn't really need a recipe. You can make any size batch you want. Toss the ingredients together for a quick snack or make a batch to store for the week. For the sake of ease, I wrote a quick recipe. You don't have to follow these exact measurements each time you make some. I certainly don't. I just toss it all in until it looks right.
Nut-free Salty & Sweet Granola Mix
Ingredients:
1 bag Plantain Chips
1 cup Organic Raisins
1 cup Dehydrated banana chips (recipe here)
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Store in an airtight container for a quic snack! :)
Since the plantain chips have oil, I would not recommending storing this granola for more than a week. Make smaller batches if you need to.
