Yesterday, my husband and I celebrated our 6th year wedding Anniversary and we've been together for 10 years!
I am really lucky to have married my best friend. He is an amazing father to Sophie and such a sweet caring husband to me.
What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories. ~George Eliot
Being a parent to a child with severe allergies isn't always easy, because worry finds its way in and settles there. My husband has been such a huge strength in those hard times, reminding me of all the things we do to keep our daughter safe. He is an awesome dad to Sophie, so aware of her allergies yet so encouraging to her. We've always had the goal to make sure Sophie knows that different doesn't mean wrong or less than. It can seem like having food allergies means you are so different from everyone else, but it doesn't mean you're less than anyone else. And together, I think we're accomplishing that goal with flying colors.
I can't thank him enough for being my other half.
A marriage is a caring commitment,
to making a miracle last forever....
It is a beautiful journey along life's road
with two people smiling as they go,
lovingly....hand in hand. - Douglas Pagels

Sophie and my mom offerd to make us dinner for our Anniversary. Gluten-free hashbrown pizzas. I came across this recipe idea a while ago. A gluten-free pizza, where the crust is a hashbrown? Yeah, they had me at hashbrown. Sold!
I don't have a picture for you, but it's the second time we've made them and they are the best pizzas ever. The crust is grain-free, egg-free, dairy-free and soy-free! You can add any toppings you like. Yum :)
