First you take a blank canvas and tape cardboard around it so that the marbles can safely travel back and forth as you rock it and move it. It should look like this:
Next get your paints ready...
Dip the marbles in the paint and then toss them in!
I thought my hand was a work of art and I didn't really want to wash it off...
So, when you're done with your painting you will have something that looks like this and then you will prominently display it on your wall:
You can use as many marbles as you want, three ... or ten. I think we used about ten. It was so much fun to dip them and see them rolling around.
I had an idea to buy some mini canvases, maybe around 2" X 2" canvases and then give them as gifts. It would also be a neat party idea for toddlers. You could already have the cardboad attached to the canvases and each guest can paint one and take it home. Dick Blick sells a package of 5 for $4.99 so that makes it a pretty inexpensive party idea too.
